Guard Rail in Road

City roads can be dangerous, where vehicles and pedestrians share the same space. Accidents can happen. Our Guard Rail in Road provides a clear separation, preventing cars from mounting the sidewalk and stopping pedestrians from entering traffic. This product is designed and manufactured according to JTG/T D81-2017, the Chinese standard for highway barriers. Heights range from 600 mm to 1200 mm. A properly designed guardrail saves lives.

We use high-strength zinc steel pipes, with wall thickness adjusted according to road classification. The structure consists of a top rail, a bottom rail, and vertical bars in between, spaced 120–150 mm apart to prevent children from squeezing through. All joints are welded for maximum strength. When a vehicle strikes the guardrail, the rail bends to absorb the impact rather than acting as a rigid wall. Computer simulations optimize the structure, and the crash rating and redirecting function comply with GB/T 24967-2010. The guardrail prevents an out-of-control vehicle from crossing over and guides it back in the proper direction.

The surface is coated using high-temperature electrostatic powder coating. Standard colors include traffic yellow, white, and green, with reflective tape optional. At night, car headlights reflect off the tape, making the guardrail clearly visible and reducing nighttime crash rates. Zinc steel with powder coating resists acid rain, de-icing salt, and vehicle exhaust, providing a design life exceeding 15 years-much longer than ordinary painted barriers.
