Roof Top Rail

Transporting materials to a rooftop is often challenging. Welded railings come as long pieces, which cannot fit into standard construction elevators or stairwells. Our roof top rail solves this problem by shipping in prefabricated components. Small parts are carried up to the roof and assembled on site. Standard heights range from 1100 mm to 1200 mm, and style, color, length, and height can all be customized. This railing was specifically designed for high-rise rooftop applications.

Each part is optimized for wall thickness and cross-section, weighing 15 kg or less. The longest piece is under 2 meters, fitting easily into any construction elevator. Two workers can handle each piece effortlessly. Assembly uses a bolt system: posts and rails connect via inner and outer sleeves plus a lock bolt. Alignment is simple, and the connection is secure. Lock washers or nylon lock nuts ensure that vibrations from wind over time do not loosen the bolts.

Each joint uses a double-bolt connection, providing redundancy if one bolt loosens. Bases use expansion screws or pre-installed anchors, with screws at least 120 mm long and pull-out strength ≥2.5 kN in concrete. A waterproof rubber pad is installed between the base and roof surface, or a groove is left for structural sealant, preventing water ingress through bolt holes. The coating includes UV stabilizers, ensuring long-lasting color and protection even under strong rooftop sunlight.
