Aluminium Balcony Balustrades

Homes near the sea face a serious challenge: coastal air contains salt, which causes steel to corrode quickly. Even a small scratch on a zinc-steel railing can develop red rust within months. Our aluminium balcony balustrades solve this problem. Aluminum naturally forms a protective oxide layer. Even if scratched, the bare metal re-oxidizes immediately-no red rust ever appears. This product is ideal for coastal areas and high-humidity environments. Standard heights are 1100 mm to 1200 mm, and style, color, length, and height are fully customizable.

We use 6063-T5 aluminum (GB/T 5237-2017) with a yield strength of ≥170 MPa. The pieces are welded using argon arc welding, producing clean, strong joints. Unlike steel welds, aluminum welds do not rust. We then apply a high-temperature electrostatic powder coat. For extra durability, outdoor PVDF fluorocarbon paint is available, compliant with AAMA 2605. It passes 4,000 hours of UV testing without powdering. Scratched steel rusts from the scratch inward; scratched aluminum simply re-oxidizes. No rust, no problem.

Aluminum has a density of approximately 2.7 g/cm³-only 34% of steel. The same-size railing is much lighter, so two people can carry it easily. Installation is about 30% faster, reducing crane costs for high-rise buildings. The PVDF coating has a hardness of ≥2H and excellent scratch resistance. Adhesion meets level 0 in the cross-cut test. Heavy rain, strong sun, and ice will not cause cracking or peeling. The base uses expansion screws or pre-installed anchors, and the railing resists a horizontal load of ≥1.5 kN/m.
