High Quality Corridor Railing

A corridor railing is exposed outdoors all year. Rain falls on it, the sun bakes it, and morning dew wets it again. These are some of the harshest conditions any railing can face. A zinc steel railing typically lasts 10 to 15 years under such conditions. Our high-quality corridor railing uses aluminum and lasts 25 to 30 years-twice as long. The standard height ranges from 1100mm to 1200mm, and the style, color, length, and height can all be customized. This railing is ideal for community corridors, fire exits, roof terraces, and school hallways.

According to the ISO 9223 corrosion scale, in a C4 zone (medium industrial or coastal environment), a zinc steel railing shows the first signs of rust in 8 to 10 years. In contrast, an aluminum railing's base metal does not corrode at all; only the coating gradually ages. The railing can be repainted later, restoring it to a like-new appearance. Total service life can exceed 30 years.

Aluminum has a thermal expansion coefficient of about 23×10⁻⁶ per °C, compared to steel's 12×10⁻⁶ per °C-a small difference. Aluminum is also more flexible, so temperature changes cause less internal stress, and weld points resist failure from repeated heating and cooling.

We treat the aluminum surface with a chrome or phosphate bath, and we also offer an eco-friendly, no-chrome process. The coating adhesion reaches level 0, the highest grade. Steel with poor phosphate treatment often loses its coating, but aluminum's conversion film bonds much more tightly, resulting in longer-lasting color. We use super-durable polyester powder coating, certified to Qualicoat Class 2, which ensures color retention for 10, 15, or even 20 years.
