Strong Corrosion Needs a Strong Solution
Some environments quickly destroy ordinary railings: buildings within one kilometer of the sea, chemical plants, sewage treatment facilities, or hot spring resorts. The air in these areas is highly corrosive, and zinc steel cannot last long. Our aluminium balustrade systems provide the only reliable solution. We use aluminum as the base material, and the style, color, length, and height can all be fully customized. In harsh conditions, aluminum is the material of choice.


Three Aluminum Grades for Different Environments
We offer several aluminum grades for specific needs:
- 6063-T5 – The most common grade, easily shaped in dies. Ideal for most railings, handrails, and fences.
- 6061-T6 – Higher strength with a yield strength of 240MPa or more. Suitable for load-bearing components such as large gates or heavy equipment platform rails.
- 5083-H112 – Excellent resistance to marine air. Designed for coastal projects or offshore platforms.
All grades are welded using AC/DC pulse argon arc welding for aluminum thicknesses from 2mm to 10mm. All welds comply with AWS D1.2 standards.
When Should You Choose Aluminum?
Aluminum is essential in the following environments:
- Buildings within 1 km of the coast – Salt in the air rusts zinc steel in 3–5 years, while aluminum lasts 20 years or more.
- Chemical plants and sewage treatment zones – Acidic or alkaline gases rapidly corrode steel. Aluminum resists chemical attack.
- Hot spring resorts – Sulfur gases and vapor turn zinc steel black and flaky, but aluminum remains unaffected.
Although the initial cost of aluminum is 1.5 to 1.8 times that of zinc steel, zinc steel in these harsh conditions requires replacement every 8–10 years. Aluminum still performs well after 20 years. Over the full service life, aluminum is more cost-effective.
